Change of plan, Aguero is in so he is the C and Salah (VC). Didn't realize i am not going to lose a lot by selling Kane
Re: GW25 Chat
I am Salah as we speak, but Sterling returning to goal in the weekend has me reconsidering.
@Ceci I did too. Still considering if I take a hit for Sane-> Mahrez, but I think I am going to wait a week and just leave him on the bench

Re: GW25 Chat
Actually i thought there is a lot more invested in Kane then actually was, all week i as sitting on Kane determined not to sell in fear of losing TV but it turns out it's barely 0.1 . I love myself a bit of Aguero from time to time, he is like a ex lover you can't forget . Couldn't go Aguero for Firmino because of their clear run to the end of the season and value invested in him but Kane was a lot easier. Kane is coming back asap anyway in couple of weeks time, not investing leftover money on other player.
Re: GW25 Chat
Sounds reasonable, one of the reasons I am not getting rid of Kane is that I didn't get his back to back hattricks...still hurts to thinka bout Can't let something like that happen again, though he likely won't do much over the next three
Re: GW25 Chat
I need to be a bit more aware about price changes, since i don't check SP/CP mostly unless a player is about to sold never knew Kane hasn't gone up in price a lot
Re: GW25 Chat
I use FFFix to keep track of price changes+it's easy to see if/when one of your players rise/drops
Re: GW25 Chat
Hearing that Mahrez is refusing to train as city are showing an interest in him.

Because I’m a new member I’m not allowed to post external links or something. Go on twitter and type in Mahrez in the search bar

Re: GW25 Chat
Already regretting I didn't (C) Sterling and went Salah instead. I think I am going to be punished this week :S
Re: GW25 Chat
Don't worry, they are 2-0 and knowing how Klopp sets them up they don't stop attacking till final whistle . I do hope Fiirmino scores one more.
Re: GW25 Chat
I briefly thought of Mustafi before the game....those foul thoughts disappeared quickly
Re: GW25 Chat
There is something genuinely wrong at that club, the players are not as bad as they look every second week. LIV just have terrible defenders but ARS are a curious case
Re: GW25 Chat
It's Wenger. The more I have gotten into football, the more it is clear to me that the manager is the most important man at the club. Except from Messi and a few other absolute wolrd class players.
I actually believed in Wenger until a couple of years ago. Now it's obvious to me that he needs to go

Re: GW25 Chat
The issue at Arsenal is that Wenger's thinking ossified near the mid2000s. You can't play Barca football (for lack of a better term, Wenger loves possession football) without Barca talent. Wenger had that in the early 2000s. He always had steel in back and in central midfield and a cutting edge (Bergkamp, Henri), however. The possession had a focus and his Arsenal early days could keep clean sheets.
It has been a slow decline in terms of the prototype. And he has not recognized when he had what he needed, i.e., Giroud and Coquelin for instance. He hasn't had a bad ass CB in, well, a long time. There is nothing bad about Mustafi and Koscielny but they are both constantly injured; where is the understanding ? And which one is physically imposing in a way like John Terry ?
There is also a level of tone-deafness. How was Lacazette supposed to feel tonight ? 'Sure, we just brought you in in the summer to be the answer, and yes, we haven't ever bothered to play you 90 minutes and we sat you for big games but - while we are frantically trying to replace you - go kick ass tonight v. Swans'. I mean, WTF. Tone- deaf.
Wenger needs to (1) watch some old tape to refind what prototype worked and (2) realize when he has a player that is the real deal. But I suspect his thinking has so ossified around his conception of what football should look like he can't see the trees for the forest.
