Another GW dawns upon us

He has been in England for a long time now and they lost their best player, he might start in 1/2 weeks once he is on same wavelength with teammates. I hope Mikhi revives his career at Arsenal because Mourinho just wasted 1.5 yr of a very creative player with his hard working players tactics which takes number 10 out of the game. Man was on pace with KDB/Ozil/Silva in terms of KP's/assists before he got dropped and Pogba starting spraying it left / right / carrying it in final third himself running into space usually occupied by a proper number 10. Given a choice between Iwobi and Mikhi it's not hard to pick the right one but we surely should wait for few starts because that manager benched Kola for Niles

Arnie Hammy injury a bit of a concern, hopefully just a bit tight and will miss the cup game and be back next GW

All my favored targets have big questions: Walcott, Willian, Mikhi. Willian for Son means I could do Jones for Schindler. Thoughts ?

@Stoosh: Think i am going for Wally if Arni is ruled out for 3-4 weeks as some google searches seem to indicate. Jones is also on radar because Christ has been very frustrating to own, love EVE so take my opinion with a pinch of salt

Thanks Ceci. I could do Walcott for Son and still add Jones for Schindler unless Jones' price rises. I've always felt Walcott is underrated both as a "real" player and as a fantasy asset. Dropped straight in by Big Sam is a good sign.

Yes, just. 2 pointers from Firmino and Salah and a 1-pointer from Robertson were enough. 46 v. 43. Spent most of the afternoon praying Robertson would not get sent off.

My next opponent does not have a strong FPL history but is 29,000 or so OR.

I still need to get used to this format - I thought there were no new discussions going on as I kept on going back to Ceci's comment about Micki at 7.6m etc!!!

I'm trying not to jump on the Aguero bandwagon after joining the Arnautovic train last gw - I'm thinking of either adding Sane to Sterling in midfield or bringing in Hazard who must surely be a differential now?!

So that would be Son/Arnau to Hazard/Choupo -4 OR Arnautovic to Sane OR Arnautovic/Son to Sane/Mahrez - thoughts?

In theory I could downgrade Eriksen and swap say Ogbonna for a - 4 that would give me 14k for a mid and a good defender. Would you do this? Not sure how to improve otherwise and losing out big time to the guy above me who has Alonso azpilicueta and bellerin

Yes because Alonso is more or less like a MID, now if you get Alonso you might have 6.7 for a MID ? You need to look @ CK replacements too maybe in future.

If i get Alonso What mid could I get for 6.7 that you would rate? Or I could go for pogba and a defender like Monreal or Jones at 5.6/5.7

To be honest i am not certain yet, but getting a MID over expensive DEF is a better move imo. Personally just waiting out for the FA cup fixtures and then going to tackle Arni issue.

Hi @Ceci and @dokdok, what do you two think I should do? Have 1FT and 2.1ITB:

Alonso-Ota-Ogbonna-Martina-Mariappa
Salah-Sterling-Son-Arnautovic-Lingard
Kane-Firmino-Quaner

1) Arnau/Son > Haz/Choupo – 1.2ITB
2) Arnau/Firmino > Allen/Aguero – 1.2ITB
Want to leave enough ITB in both cases so I have the option of doing Ling > Wally.

Anyway, my dilemma is that I prefer 1) as Haz is now a differential, he looked back to his old self last game, I would captain Haz this gw, Firmino has served me pretty well, it means I get to take out Son too as don’t really fancy him for the next 3 games and if Sanchez looks really sharp v Spurs I can bring him in for the Hudd game at home in one transfer with Haz.

However, it seems that the general consensus is that if you can bring in Aguero without removing Kane for only a -4 then it’s a no brainer, and on top of that Haz cannot be trusted anymore etc etc!

I guess KDB instead of Haz could also be a compromise.

So I pussied out and did Firmino/Arnautovic > Aguero/Shaqiri!

I was just pondering something similar but guess i am going to stick with Firmino and get walcott for Arni. Would love to get Aguero but getting Firmino back in team won't be possible later and Jesus is coming back soon anyway ( possibly in 2 weeks time ). Need funds for my GK upgrade too.

@DOK: Fantasy football crossroads, Son-Kane-Firmino dropping and can get Aguero if i drop Firmino and get a cheap MID. Just adding Walcott to Arni adds up to same projected points

Been taking some time off from FPL...
I think the time to think of TV is long gone, go for what brings you max points, not TV
